“Katherine Arens represents the kind of candidate for the Masters degree in Arts Management that permits our outstanding faculty to be most encouraged about the future of the arts in the United States. Ms. Arens has a professional demeanor, is an accomplished and articulate student and provides an informal mentorship to those with whom she attends class. She provides for meaningful exchanges in the academic setting and is most willing to share her perspectives and experiences as examples of some of the challenging arts management issues that confront those who provide for the preservation of the art form, concern for the audiences and nurture for the artists – our arts managers. I am most willing to share in further recommendation of Ms. Arens.” January 6, 2010
